G Loomis GL3 M/F Classic Popping Rod

Designed for redfish and permit; the PR844 is a good all-around flats rod for a number of different species. Works well with the smaller types of live bait like shrimp; minnows and small crabs; casting spoons and jigs equally well. It is a fast-action rod; but leans towards moderate a bit; making it a good rod to wear down the larger fish quickly. GL3 makes it light; yet surprisingly powerful and pretty darned sensitive.
