This is a replacement fire starter (stick) for Smiths Pocket Pal X2 Sharpener and Survival Tool (item 50364). Please note the first time this rod is used you must first remove the outer black coating on the rod before it will begin to spark. Usually three or four pulls through the carbide sharpening slot will remove the outer coating.
