Ruger Bolt Action Rifles

Ruger Bolt Action Rifles
Bolt Action rifles are among the most positive operating and accurate rifles made. Similar in operation to a door bolt, bolt action rifles are operated by lifting up and pulling back the bolt handle to eject a chambered cartridge, and then pushing the bolt handle forward, lowering the bolt handle to lock a new cartridge into the chamber for firing. They are slower than other types of actions, but tend to be the most reliable under adverse operating conditions.

Ruger Bolt Action Rifles embody many unique, advanced features while retaining the rugged simplicity of the bolt action rifles originally designed at the turn of the 19th century.

Ruger M77® Mark II centerfire bolt action rifles are chambered for the more powerful cartridges, and are used for anything from small game and varmint hunting to Cape buffalo and elephants. The NEW Ruger M77® Hawkeye® rifles are the next generation of the M77 rifles and offer both styling and functional enhancements that meet users' expectations. Ruger 77/17® and 77/22® rimfire bolt action rifles are used in target matches and for small game shooting, varmint hunting, and "plinking" at informal targets.
